Five Fingers
The Five Fingers area is very visible from the hairpin corner on Highway 550. The “Fingers” has a nice variety of pillars and mixed climbs. Belay from chains laying across the road. Please use the lower part of the chains for the belay as the power plant employees sometimes drive snowmobiles down the road and this way they will not be driving over your rope. Also keep your gear out of the middle of the road for hikers and the snowmobiles. There is a walk down in the gully and the downstream portion of the Five Fingers.
mixed climbs:
Uddah Bruddah (M7, bolts) Climbs between Dead Ringer and In The Pink, right next to Salsa Lisa. This route is more technical and difficult to read than Salsa Lisa. Belay off the first bolt of Salsa Lisa or with ice screws and gear on the ledge.
Salsa Lisa (M7-, bolts) Climb up WI 4 (optional) to a thin pick sized crack. Enjoy the great holds until the crack runs out. Step left and finish on a few technical edges. One of the best moderate mixed climbs in the park.
Helgi’s Route (M7, bolts and gear) Climbs on the lower rock panel below Salsa Lisa. This climb is well liked.
